chains & charms: earrings | as of 01.13.11

it started as a hobby

i've always loved buying small trinkets and keeping them in a box. i just like looking at them once in a while for a dose of cuteness. i know, it's weird. at first, i just buy silver charms and dream of someday upgrading to white gold and platinum. but then i discovered the joy in cheap metal charms. or maybe i just got poorer, haha.

i started customizing jewelry with a bracelet i got from papemelroti. whenever i find new trinkets, i would change the charms of that bracelet to better reflect my personality and interests.

i then started turning earring charms into necklace pendants and pendants into rings and then i just have too much and thought of selling them.

when i make something, i imagine wearing it myself so every sale is always a long goodbye for me. but i find happiness when i see my customer using my creations so in the end i feel fulfilled.
